If you do a good Chicharron Mofongo, I'm yours. My Latina friend comes here all the time. I've only had Dominican Mofongo so far. I'm curious to know how it differs from Puerto Rican. I'm so ready for that taste test. Their takeaway game is strong. The service is quick and the portions are large. I had enough Mofongo for two days. It's one of the heavier meals so I can't eat it all in one sitting. Plus it's even better the next day. From the pork crackling to the gravy, it's all delicious. There's lots of seating which might be better than double parking and running in. But it's a busy shopping strip so you can get lucky and find a spot on a side street. I've only eaten in once and can't remember if there's waiter service. It's set up more cafeteria/diner-style than restaurant. Nothing fancy. But I don't need fancy when the food is good.

The food is soooo good. I used to order from Caridad and Louis which are still pretty good but I like Brisas way better. The rice, sancocho, and combo just taste better to me.

Family and I decided to grab lunch, we were craving some good ole Spanish food. Their portions are filling and food is tasty! Space is pretty limited but they make it work. Wait for the food wasn't too bad and staff were attentive.

The food was OK. Hospitality was good Dimie is OK I used to come in many years ago. It's still the same but the prices went up as expected. I will recommend this place to anybody that comes to New York in the Bronx.

Puerto Rican food done right. The sancocho is delicious and seasoned to perfection. Every time I am in NYC I drive to this place just for the sancocho. I truly believe that repeat business is the best compliment. The service is attentive, fast and professional. The ambiance is clean and organized with an amazing vista painted on the wall. Until next time Brisas!!!

Brisas will ALWAYS have my heart!!! This is my absolute favorite Dominican restaurant in New York City. Brisas consistently delivers the most delectable Caribbean cuisine. Their oven-roasted chicken is incredibly flavorful, and the combination of rice and beans is simply exceptional. However, my utmost favorite thing from Brisas is their bread! It's unbelievably fresh and warm, truly providing a comforting experience. Brisas has been a cherished establishment since my childhood, and they have never failed to exceed my expectations. The avocado salad slaps and don't forget to order a Presidente to really get into the Dominican spirit

Yeah, it might not look like there's a line out the door- anymore- since they renovated! This place has been around for a lil bit, apparently as a neighborhood fave; but I didn't just realize it until just now with my pops and his friends.. this Dominican spot can definitely get it, this spot on Castle Hill Ave in the Bronx is FIYAAA. Come here for the bomb ass rice and beans with that pechuga a la plancha you won't regret it
